摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the adverse effects of drugs affecting autonomic functions or extrapyramidal system. The sympathomimetic such as dopamine cause ectopic beats, tachycardia, anginal pain and palpitations, nausea, headache dyspnoea. Piloerection azotaemia can occur, blood pressure may either rise fall. also presents an account α-adrenergic blocking agents related ergotamine, bromocriptine, lergotrile, metergoline. cholinomimetic anticholinesterases edrophonium are recommended in treatment supraventricular tachycardia but fatal near-fatal reactions have been reported when used with other measures that increase vagal tone. accounts for Parkinsonism benztropine, benzhexol, orphenadrine. Benztropine produces a block nervous stimuli sweat gland excretion contributed to induction heat stroke. Treatment Parkinson's disease increases patient's mobility be indirectly responsible ischaemic heart disease.
