摘要: Primary pleural lymphoma is a rare entity that has been described in association with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection or pyothorax. It occurs only 7% of primary cases. We report the case 52-year-old male no history HIV pyothorax who was diagnosed obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome (OSAS) and underwent routine chest X-ray to screen for any organic cause symptoms. The radiograph revealed two voluminous masses extraparenchymatous features but without effusion. A contrast-enhanced CT performed confirmed existence showed homogeneous attenuation. Neither mediastinal lymphadenopathy nor effusion were present. percutaneous CT-guided fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) 25-G (two samples obtained) first diagnosis non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. final mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) by core biopsy 20-G needle. To best our knowledge, cases MALT presenting as have reported immunocompetent patients. In this report, we describe patient include short review literature.
