摘要: Heart disease is the number one cause of morbidity and mortality in world a major health economic burden, costing United States Health Care System more than $200 billion annually. A heart massive loss or dysfunction cardiomyocytes caused by myocardial infarctions hypertension. Due to limited regenerative capacity heart, much research has focused on better understanding process differentiation toward cardiomyocytes. This review will highlight what currently known about cardiac cell specification during mammalian development, areas controversy, cellular sources cardiomyocytes, current potential uses stem derived for therapies.
