摘要: Abstract The His-1 locus is a common site of viral insertion in murine myeloid leukemias induced by the wild mouse ecotropic retrovirus, CasBrM. In this report, we describe cloning novel gene at and show that expression associated with transformed phenotype. Northern (RNA) blot analysis identified transcripts four cell lines but no normal tissues examined. Two these were derived from retrovirus-induced harbor integrated proviruses which drive promoter insertion. The two other expressed discrete 3-kb RNA consisting three exons span 6 kb on chromosome 2. conserved as single-copy sequence multiple vertebrate species spliced polyadenylated RNA. A protein-coding region not evident because presence small open reading frames, none are greater than 219 bp. This lack an extensive frame unusual feature shared molecules believed to function absence translation.
