摘要: Recent observations have indicated that magnetic field elements are distributed on the Sun in fractal patterns with dimension D < 2. We suggest transport of across solar surface should be treated as diffusion a geometry. review semi-analytical, theoretical treatment diffusion. Comparison small-scale motions flux concentrations indicates may taking place range 1.3 to 1.8. It is shown that, compared predictions would made for two-dimensional diffusion, this lead an increased level situ cancellation decaying active regions by 7% 35%.
