摘要: The magnetic field in solar active regions forms a highly structured pattern without an apparent length scale. We study this detail for plage and its surroundings observed with the Swedish Solar Observatory on La Palma. magnetogram has resolution of about 1/3″, after image optimisation. analysed geometric properties isolated patches flux. Patches linear size up to 3″ appear be statistically self-similar, fractal dimension ofD f = 1.54 ± 0.05 relation between area size. This value agrees very well dimensionD 1.56 which is found percolation theory clusters tracers placed randomly lattice tracer density below critical threshold. distribution cluster areas also that such random lattice. correspondence observations filled lattices suggests that- emergence - flux Sun distributed at least sizes possibly larger.
