摘要: In a randomized, cross-over, double-blind study, the effects of nifedipine were compared with those diltiazem in 20 patients severe stable angina pectoris and multivessel coronary artery disease treated nitrates beta-blockers. The comparison was performed by bicycle ergometry, clinical evaluation, ambulatory 24-h ECG monitoring for 7-8 weeks. As placebo, both significantly reduced daily number anginal attacks nitroglycerin consumption; prolonged exercise duration, time to 1-mm ST segment depression, onset angina; sum depressions at maximal identical load ergometry. monitoring, only diminished duration asymptomatic depression as placebo. Antianginal antiischemic similar. Both increased treatment Administration safer because night caused significant bradycardia despite careful titration optimum doses drug. Although maximum well-tolerated conventional medication suppressed symptoms some patients, they did not abolish ischemia either ergometry or life.
