The observed expansion is likely be connected with the ever-increasing intensity traffic flow and migration infected carriers between cities, regions, countries. Opisthorchis felineus, trematode belonging family Opisthorchiidae, well known causative agent infection called opisthorchiasis. Metorchis bilis, also member causes metorchiasis, disease very close opisthorchiasis in symptomatology. Genetic markers can used develop methods for differential diagnostics these diseases. However, questions epidemiology infections, their clinical characteristics, prognosis therapy remain open. This review briefs general biological characteristics O. felineus M. bilis persisting various countries Eurasia, geographical range, molecular liver flukes.
