摘要: Abstract Two types of unfunctionalized and functionalized multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were prepared to be applied in fabrication MWCNT–ZnO nanocomposite thin films with various MWCNT contents. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy indicated formation functional groups on surface the MWCNTs nanocomposite. Formation effective carbonaceous bonds between ZnO was also investigated through photoinactivation Escherichia coli bacteria both nanocomposites. The nanocomposites showed significantly stronger than ones, for all contents (from 2 30 wt%). While optimum content 10 wt% inactivated whole after 10 min UV–visible light irradiation, ones could inactivate only 63% under same conditions. significant enhancement onto assigned charge transfer Zn–O–C bands formed Zn atoms film oxygen carboxylic MWCNTs.
