Use of TGF-β3, to prevent or retard fistula closure following glaucoma filtration surgery

摘要: The intraocular use of TGF-β 3 in connection with glaucoma filtration surgery is described. A composition containing applied to the surgical site suppress production and/or alter extracellular matrix synthesized by fibroblasts at site, and thereby reduce formation scar tissue consequent impairment outflow aqueous humor through a fistula created during surgery.
