摘要: Tissue histogenesis during plant development depends on regulation of cell division plane, timing and frequency to produce units correct size shape for mature function. Differences among the dermal, ground vascular tissue systems arise development, largely through these aspects cycling in relation overall expansion. Using a cyclin1At::GUS reporter construct, we demonstrate quantitative differences primary, secondary, tertiary veins; are superimposed upon more general longitudinal gradient developing leaves Arabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh. Patterns coincide almost exactly with those earliest known molecular marker procambial identity, HD-ZIP III homeobox gene ATHB-8, suggesting that ATHB-8 may play role regulating early events including procambium-specific patterns cycling. Cellular localization cyc1At::GUS ATHB-8::GUS within strands indicates, however, has additional functions related dorsiventral patterning veins differentiation events.
