摘要: Migraine is a disabling neurological condition manifesting with attacks of headache, hypersensitivities to visual, auditory, olfactory and somatosensory stimuli, nausea, vomiting. Exposure sensory such as odours, visual sounds, commonly triggers migraine attacks, stimuli are prominent during but can persist less magnitude between attacks. Functional MRI (fMRI) has been used investigate the mechanisms that lead by measuring brain responses olfactory, painful cutaneous stimulation, functional connectivity analyses have investigated organisation specific regions networks responsible for processing. These studies consistently shown atypical absence normal habituating response processing regions. Identification trigger in might help better understand neural dysfunction provide new targets prevention, could fMRI biomarkers indicate early preventive therapy.
