摘要: Abstract A new severe plastic deformation technique, named "constrained studded pressing" (CSP), was developed for the production of plate-shaped ultrafine grain metals without changing their initial dimensions. In CSP method, material is subjected to repetitive shear by dies with two orthogonal grooves then becomes flat. The and flattening done constrained-blocks. Calculations showed that effective strain method more than groove (CGP) method. microstructure mechanical properties CSPed samples investigated scanning electron microscopy (SEM) tensile tests, respectively. SEM observations as other corrugation straightening (RCS) methods a useful refine size. investigations indicate ductility produced CGPed on, while ultimate strength them approximately same.
