摘要: Abstract The sensitivity for 4-msec flashes of sinusoidal grating was determined at various times during and after a subthreshold 800 msec flash the same spatial-frequency. At frequencies 2 c/deg below, to short transiently changed about 100 onset offset long flash. If gratings in were spatially phase, increased but decreased offset. A phase-shift 180° caused an inversion these effects. higher spatial-frequencies, new steady level duration flash, when phase. did not cause inversion: This might suggest non-linearity response, it is argued that results can be explained by supposing existence two types channel spatial-frequencies.
