摘要: Geochemistry is of great importance for the interpretation geomechanical quality rock materials used in various construction applications. This paper investigates interrelationships between selected chemical indices and engineering parameters ultramafic mafic rocks from Vourinos, Pindos, Koziakas Othrys ophiolite complexes (northern central Greece). The significance these assessment ophiolitic aggregates strongly demonstrated based on statistical analysis experimental results. studied lithologies include dunites, olivine-rich harzburgites, typical plagioclase-bearing lherzolites, troctolites, diorites dolerites, which show degrees alteration tectonic deformation. effect strength particularly relationships specific are determined using simple regression analysis. results designate that WPI index most appropriate behavior lithologies, while LOI seems to provide a general estimation properties rocks.
