摘要: Chest pain is one of the most common presenting symptoms leading to presentation medical clinics and Emergency Departments worldwide. Defining nature etiology chest can pose a diagnostic dilemma for clinicians, despite availability several algorithms guidelines assist them in evaluating these patients. Most investigations patients with acute are initially performed either exclude or diagnose manage potentially life-threatening conditions such as coronary syndrome, pulmonary embolism aortic dissection. In cases stable syndromes, focus shifts determining presence, extent severity artery disease. recent years, computed tomography angiography (CCTA) being increasingly used worldwide assessment both syndromes. This review evaluates current evidence regarding clinical utility CCTA settings outlines latest advances techniques, including functional stenoses, their potential application improve patient care cost-effective manner.
