摘要: Coronary computed tomography angiography (coronary CTA) is being increasingly used to detect and rule out coronary artery stenoses. Beyond stenosis detection, the abundance of anatomic, morphologic, physiological information incorporated from a single one-stop-shop CT study has generated considerable interest in context preprocedural planning for revascularization. Specifically, CTA data sets can assist interventional cardiologists with selective catheter placement, appropriate guidewire choice, accurate stent size selection, and, most importantly, development stepwise revascularization strategy plan. This particularly salient cases which noninvasive exceeds characterization lesions compared invasive angiogram been successfully predict likelihood procedural outcome (eg, chronic total occlusions). Unlike angiography, characterize "adverse" plaque characteristics low-attenuation plaque) that increase risk periprocedural complications may thus require tailored strategies. In addition, procedure itself be facilitated by projection 3-dimensional directly catheterization laboratory. Finally, ability CTA-derived computational fluid dynamics pinpoint lesion-specific ischemia functional "virtual stenting" algorithms. Continuous research clearly needed, but many experienced operators have already integrated into guiding
