摘要: The objective of this study was to evaluate the responsiveness and construct validity Spanish version DASH as outcome measure for carpal tunnel surgery. population 42 patients with diagnosis syndrome (CTS) based on clinical electrophysiological criteria. design a classic Cohort measures day before 12 weeks after open release. compared physical exam dexterity time, grip pinch strength, range motion wrist (ROM) two-point discrimination (2PPD). evaluated effect size (ES) standardised response means (SRM). CTS questionnaire (CTQ) 36-item short-form health survey (SF-36) were self-administered same followed design. hypothesis that instrument should present level higher than SF-36 lower CTQ established demonstrate validity. showed an ES 0.68 SRM 1.00. Responsiveness traditional lower, running from 0.35 (SRM) time 0.00 key strength. presented (range 0.07 0.14) DASH. highest (ES = 1.41 0.7) (SRM 1.75 0.51). In conclusion, is more sensitive in detecting change use studies done at proof good
