摘要: Light-guiding thin films of various materials have been deposited on glass substrates from liquid solutions by slow evaporation the solvent. The attenuation guided light wave in some these is as low that in the best prepared other methods. Film deposition solution done at or near room temperature. Therefore, this technique allows us to dope the thin with organic molecules, e.g., laser dyes. The preparation and light-guiding properties doped and undoped are described. The materials studied were epoxy, lead-silica, polyurethane, Kodak photoresist KPR. Films first second material shown losses 0.3 dB/cm at wavelengths 0.633 μm 1.064 μm, respectively. polyurethane been prepared rhodamine 6G doping. When pumped a pulsed nitrogen laser, the doped showed optical gains up 100 dB/cm. KPR an attenuation ~1 dB/cm 1.064 μm. This optical loss, combination photographic sensitivity KPR, offers the possibility fabricating integrated circuits directly the photoresist films.
