摘要: The constant consumption of resources exerts pressure on the environment. In this sense, waste management has obtained increasing attention from view a circular economy. European Union deals with these mentioned aspects, trying maintain long-term competitiveness and to provide sustainable development in accordance all related environmental aspects. This paper focuses evaluation production communal 36 EU countries. main aim is evaluate success countries’ efforts decrease increase recycling rates. methodology used for included data collected publicly available database Eurostat, consequent analyses statistical software JMP 13 through regression, distribution, cluster analysis, interpretation results. results analysis showed that despite clear legislation, member states have significantly different systems at national level. However, generally, we could see positive correlation between generation Although, Malta, Austria, Greece, Norway recorded decreasing level over last several years, some countries (Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania) had lower rates accompanied by low landfill taxes. can be government policy area management, as well individual communities dealing waste.
