摘要: Dobutamine, a derivative of dopamine, was infused at rate 10 mug/kg per min in 15 patients with severe congestive heart failure. Cardiac output increased from an average 3.1 to 5.6 liters/min (P less than 0.001) no change mean arterial pressure (93.3 98.2 mm Hg) and only slight increase (98.5 105.2 beats/min) 0.02). Pulmonary wedge decreased 27.4 21.1 Hg 0.001). In seven dose 5 also produced significant cardiac but the effect dose. No side effects were observed during infusion. Dobutamine therefore is potent inotropic drug limited chronotropic peripheral vascular deserves therapeutic trial short-term management low
