摘要: Olfactory transduction involves a G-protein-coupled second messenger system, which results in the odor-dependent production of cAMP. The direct activation ion channels cilia membrane by cAMP is final step producing slow depolarization that brings potential to threshold for spike generation. Because central role cascade occupied these considerable effort has been directed toward understanding their behavior at molecular level. Alternative pathways have also proposed olfaction, but physiological evidence less well developed.
