摘要: BACKGROUND Sizing of flow diverters (FDs) stent in the treatment intracranial aneurysms is a challenging task due to change length after implantation. OBJECTIVE To quantify size and assess error prediction 82 simulated FD deployments. METHODS Eighty-two consecutive patients treated with FDs were retrospectively analyzed. Implanted was measured from angiographic images compared nominal sizes implanted device. Length obtained by subtracting real dividing length. devices on 3-dimensional models each patient. Simulation FD. Subanalysis done using ANOVA. Statistical significance set P < .05, bootstrap resampling used. RESULTS When assessing implantation, changes 30% average up 80% reference device observed. The simulation results showed lower 3.52% maximum 30%. Paired t-test nonsignificant differences between (P = .07, mean at 0.45 mm, 95% confidence interval [-0.950 0.038]). CONCLUSION Nominal not an accurate sizing metric when choosing irrespective brand manufacturer. Good estimation final deployment as expressed 3.5% average.
