摘要: Oxidative stress is an unavoidable consequence of life in oxygen-rich atmosphere. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) and reactive nitrogen (RNS) are generated as by-products aerobic metabolism critical intermediates the normal physiology pathophysiology hepatocytes. To cope with ROS RNS, cells have developed antioxidant defenses order to maintain balance between production detoxification processes. important creation oxidative stimuli required for physiologic homeostasis hepatocytes, but when equilibrium generation defense cell disrupted, condition. In this chapter we will describe main cellular source free radicals, damages by accumulation, all principal enzymatic non-enzymatic defenses.
