摘要: This invention is directed to a method and apparatus for determining the level of ambient light impinging on selected number pixels in an imaging array where each pixel includes photodiode. The may be determined by resetting detecting current flow through photodiodes as they are being reset. Alternately, reset applying reverse bias voltage across them detected measuring resistance parallel photodiodes. divided into one or more groups having at least pixel, group arranged specific patterns within array. laid out rows columns, located predetermined columns. When only these groups, sequentially permit differentiation between groups.
