摘要: Numerous exoerythrocytic forms of Plasmodium falciparum ( PFEEF ) were obtained from the liver South American monkey, Cebus apella, for analysis antigens on this stage. As antigen fluorescent assay, 5-micron sections fragments collected day 5 following sporozoite inoculation and fixed in Carnoy's solution or kept liquid nitrogen used. Two types labeling identified: diffuse peripheral. Each 23 sera individuals with P. infection acquired naturally by mosquito bite showed peripheral patterns fluorescence at low serum dilutions (i.e., 1:10-1:100), but only staining higher 1:200-1:1,600). All other polyclonal tested pattern whatever dilution used; was true infections accidentally blood transfusion, heterologous human vivax, ovale, malariae cynomolgi, experimental animal berghei, gallinaceum, cynomolgi. Fluorescent antibody titers generally 1-4 lower than stages. No age-dependent found 30 ranging age 2-78 years living a malaria-endemic area. Twenty-six monoclonal antibodies directed to stages which reacted high rings, schizonts, merozoites, gametocytes did not react even when using undiluted ascitic fluid.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
