摘要: Establishing an in vitro system for culturing Leishmania chagasi/infantum dog macrophages Few studies have been published. The use of canine to obtain amastigotes allows the study biology this parasitic form host cell. In order determine conditions suitable establishment amastigotes, etiological agent American Visceral Leishmaniasis, belonging continuous cell line DH82 were infected using promastigotes under different conditions. It was observed that, although cells ingested very quickly, parasites transformed into and able withstand intracellular replication amastigotes; moreover. cellular growth phase, parasite: ratio incubation temperature infl uence on percentage cells. highest infection rates obtained when monolayer a stationary 50:1 parasite:cell ratio, incubating at 33oC, which suggests that these are ideal developing culture amastigotes. These fi ndings open possibility parasite-host interactions, as well evaluating drugs with potential leishmanicide agent.
