摘要: Tuberculosis, caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, is a global health problem with approximately two million deaths every year. Furthermore, up to one-third of the world population infected latent form this bacterium. Existing anti-tuberculosis therapies are directed against actively replicating bacteria, while there no particular treatment for tuberculosis infection. Bacterial two-component systems (TCSs) pleiotropic and play central role in adaptation pathogenic bacteria environment prevailing within host tissues. TCS allow microorganisms sense respond changes many different environmental conditions therefore considered potential pharmacological targets development novel antimycobacterial drugs. In work, we review current knowledge TCSs tuberculosis. We discuss their bacterial pathogenesis virulence. pay special attention DosS/DosT/DosR TCS, emphasizing its importance development.
