摘要: Different definitions of the reaction matrix G appropriate to calculation nuclear structure are reviewed and discussed. Qualitative physical arguments presented in support a two-step G-matrix for finite nuclei. In first step high-energy excitations included using orthogonalized plane-wave intermediate states, second low-energy added in, harmonic oscillator states.
