摘要: Different definitions of the reaction matrix G appropriate to calculation nuclear structure are reviewed and discussed. Qualitative physical arguments presented in support a two-step G-matrix for finite nuclei. In first step high-energy excitations included using orthogonalized plane-wave intermediate states, second low-energy added in, harmonic oscillator states. Accurate calculations elements Aapprox. =18 region performed following this procedure treating Pauli exclusion operator Q/sub 2//sub p/ by method Tsai Kuo. The treatment p/, effect intermediate-state spectrum energy dependence investigated detail. present compared with various given literature. particular, close agreement is obtained calculated Kuo Brown approximate methods.
