摘要: We present a new method for traveltime tomography. In this method, the between source and receiver is described by an analytical function, which consists of series expansion geometrical coordinates locations. As derived from eikonal equation, function must also satisfy equation. This condition imposes strong constraint on its uniqueness. The coefficients are estimated minimizing misfit observed time in least-square sense. Once known, turns out to be form expansion, provides velocity medium. Thus there two functions, one defining other slowness, they can used prestack depth migration model definition. easily extended incorporate reflection data has potential solving 3-dimensional seismic global seismology inverse problems.
