摘要: Summary Transcranial color-coded duplex ultrasonography (TCCS) enables the visualization of basal cerebral arteries through intact skull by color-coding blood flow velocity. The circle Willis can be identified their anatomic location with respect to brain stem structures and determination direction. TCCS is an important neuroimaging method due its excellent time resolution. In addition diagnostics intracranial vascular disease, this technique valuable in intensive care stroke units, e.g. for follow-up examinations vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage, intraoperative monitoring as well. difficult anatomical conditions, application echo contrast agents improve diagnostic reliability examination. This paper reviews examination clinical routine cerebrovascular diagnostics.
