摘要: There is a growing public health concern that older adults who use alcohol may present with complex array of comorbid disorders complicate assessment, diagnosis, and intervention. Very little known about other substance psychiatric among adults. This chapter reviews the aspects aging cause to be particularly vulnerable consequences comorbidity. In addition, prevalence rates disorders, their subsyndromal counterparts, scant existing literature on comorbidity are reviewed. The most common disorder depression, followed by social phobia disorder. Among adults, available empirical evidence suggests relatively high depression or disorder, as well tobacco 65 years old older, just over 2 % endorse criteria for diagnosis two more mental disorders.
