Alcohol Use and Comorbid Psychiatric and Subsyndromal Disorders Among Older Adults

摘要: There is a growing public health concern that older adults who use alcohol may present with complex array of comorbid disorders complicate assessment, diagnosis, and intervention. Very little known about other substance psychiatric among adults. This chapter reviews the aspects aging cause to be particularly vulnerable consequences comorbidity. In addition, prevalence rates disorders, their subsyndromal counterparts, scant existing literature on comorbidity are reviewed.
