摘要: This paper represents the design of Electromagnetic Band gap (EBG) structure having fractal shape and its effect on antenna performance. The EBG is designed substrate with dielectric constant 4.4 thickness 1.6 mm. proposed simulated using high frequency simulator (HFSS). In our method, to overcome several limitations patch antennas such as constrict bandwidth, low gain, excitation surface waves, concept applied. aim this design, simulate fabricate new operating at 2.4GHz study performance rectangular microstrip in terms bandwidth VSWR without which are characterized return loss radiation pattern (1). Keywords—Microstrip, Gap (EBG), Bandwidth, Surface wave attenuation.
