摘要: Objective: Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is a chronic esophageal inflammatory condition with paucity of information on health-related quality life (HRQOL). The objective the study was to report measurement properties PedsQL EoE Module. Methods: Module completed in multisite by 196 pediatric patients and 262 parents EoE. Results: scales evidenced excellent feasibility (0.6%–3.1% missing), group comparison reliability across total scale scores (patient 0.93; parent proxy 0.94), good for 7 individual 0.75–0.87; 0.81–0.92), test–retest intraclass correlation coefficient 0.88; 0.82), demonstrated no floor effects low ceiling effects, high percentage scaling success most scales. Intercorrelations Generic Core Scales were medium (0.30) large (0.50) range. worse among active histologic disease ( 5 eos/hpf) compared those remission self-report: 63.3 vs 69.9 [P < 0.05]; report: 65.1 72.3 0.01]), treated dietary restrictions 61.6 74.3 0.01]; 65.5 74.7 0.01]). Conclusions: results demonstrate Patients scores. may be used evaluation diseasespecific HRQOL clinical research practice.
