摘要: Non-typhoidal salmonellosis is a leading cause of foodborne zoonosis. To better understand the epidemiology human salmonellosis, this study aimed to determine prevalence, antimicrobial resistance and sequence types Salmonella in retail food wild birds (proximity humans) Singapore. We analyzed 21,428 cooked ready-to-eat 1,510 residual faecal samples collected during 2010–2015. Thirty-two isolates from were subjected disc diffusion multi-locus typing (MLST). was isolated 0.08% (17/21,428) 0.99% (15/1510) birds. None (n = 15) exhibited phenotypic resistance, while (47.1%, 8/17) showed high prevalence to, at least, one antimicrobial. These findings suggested that avian had been less selection pressure than those samples. MLST revealed specific found both The can guide future studies with whole-genome analysis on larger number various sectors for public health measures.
