摘要: Salmonella is a very important foodborne pathogen causing illness in humans. The emergence of drug-resistant strains also constitutes serious worry to global health and livestock productivity. This study investigated isolates from chicken meat products using the phenotypic antimicrobial screening as well molecular characteristics isolates. Upon serotyping isolates, susceptibility profiling panel 9 commonly used antimicrobials was done. Subsequently, profiles all were further determined Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE) Whole Genome Multi-Locus Sequence Type (wgMLST) analysis order obtain sequence types. PFGE data input into FPQuest software, dendrogram generated studied for possible genetic relatedness among All found belong Enteritidis serotype with notable resistance tetracycline, gentamycin, streptomycin, sulfadimidine. S. tested predominantly subtyped ST11 ST1925, which be single cell variant ST11. STs occur meats, foods, live cloacal swabs, may indicate persistence bacteria multiple foci. demonstrate presence chickens, indicating its preference reservoir status enteric pathogens.
