摘要: 1. To cope with stressful environmental temperatures, organisms can enhance thermotolerance when exposed to sub-lethal temperatures before thermal stress, a phenomenon referred as acclimation. Acclimation includes different forms (developmental, gradual or rapid) that vary in ecological importance depending on patterns of diurnal and seasonal variation. 2. Here, we complete comprehensive assessment how the acclimation based simulated field affect cold tolerance Drosophila melanogaster under levels stress ()4AE5 °C ⁄ 2 h 0 10 h). 3. We predict (i) combinations treatments may be particularly beneficial (ii) benefits types differ for acute vs. chronic stress. also investigate whether distinct promote differential molecular responses 4. had very large effects resulted phenotypes ranging from sensitive tolerant individuals within specific applied influenced expression several genes (Hsp23, Hsp70, Hsp40,Hsp68, Starvin Frost) during recovery but depended nature treatment. 5. Cumulative occurred between acclimation, these well point underlying mechanisms. 6. These results highlight combined strongly impact resistance.
