摘要: Abstract This study investigates the application of evaporatively-cooled window system in hot and humid climates assesses its seasonal performance benefits terms energy savings. The validated is a hybrid combination solar chimney, evaporative cooler that induces natural buoyant flow originated by direct radiation application. As proper data critical applying solar-driven technologies, an on-site weather station was established Qatar for measurement several meteorological parameters entire year 2016. measurements represent actual recordings city Doha, mimicking harshly conditions. simple on typical office space subjected to such driving conditions found save 8.8% total annual demand. During summer, enhanced saving 11.3% daily heat gain. However, diminished were sometimes unfavorable during winter due limited cooling caused high humidity.
