摘要: The significance of interleukin-6 (IL-6) in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) was studied by measuring the IL-6 level serum and colonic tissue means an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), examining its localization using immunohistochemical method. reflected degree activity, extent affected area, also correlated C-reactive protein (CRP) level. In mucosa active IBD, markedly elevated, immunoreactive products anti-IL-6 antibody were present infiltrative mononuclear cells lamina propria. This indicates that production these is enhanced at site intestine. These results, together biological activity type cell producing it, suggest available marker to assess conditions IBD it might be involved pathophysiology IBD.
