The Risk of Suicide Mortality in Chronic Pain Patients

摘要: Chronic pain has long been considered an important risk factor for suicidal behavior. Less well understood are the factors associated with increased suicide death within chronic populations. The purpose of this review is to examine recent research regard rates and mortality in patients musculoskeletal pain. We conclude that a number states at death, appears be due, least part, other well-known correlates such as depression substance use disorders. However, all likelihood, there aspects itself add uniquely individual's profile. Lastly, we address theoretical perspective offer recommendations clinical practice.
