摘要: Abstract Optical rotatory dispersion and circular dichroic spectra of native G-actin containing either Mg2+, Ca2+, or Mn2+ as the strongly bound cation did not differ in far ultraviolet. Similarly, exchange ATP for ITP affect peptide backbone conformation protein. Denaturation by heat EDTA caused an irreversible loss about 40% optically active structure G-actin. From ultraviolet conclusion was drawn that α-helix is main both denatured actin amounts to 30% 18%, respectively. The contribution β may exceed 10%, while remaining residues do appear contribute optical activity. Indications dischroism presence unfolded coil structures only 6 m guanidine HCl. Sucrose, 30%, has no effect on values G-actin, but it causes a reversible increase actin. Certain features pattern are consistent with there being rather short helical segments
