摘要: Results from an experimental study of the development turbulent spots in plane Poiseuille flow is presented. Spots were triggered at a Reynolds number 1600 by loudspeaker-induced jet high velocity. The initial disturbance was found to undergo first stage rapid expansion, which sharp internal shear layers form, and subsequently break down turbulence. This observed locations away symmetry plane.
