摘要: The wave packets located at the wingtips of turbulent spots in plane Poiseuille flow have been investigated by hot-film anemometry. streamwise velocity disturbances associated with waves were found to be antisymmetric respect channel centreline. amplitude had a maximum close wall that was about 4% centreline velocity. modified field outside spot measured and linear stability analysis profiles showed less stable than undisturbed flow. phase distribution reasonable agreement theory, which together symmetry properties indicate packet consisted locally least Tollmien-Schlichting mode.
