摘要: An analysis of the lengths survival patients with acquired immune deficiency syndrome presenting different opportunistic diseases was performed using epidemiological data routinely collected at PHLS Communicable Disease Surveillance Centre. The overall crude case fatality rate 55.4% (93/168). median times were: 21.2 months for Kaposi9s sarcoma, 12.5 Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia, and 13.3 other infections. shortest time (6.6 months) found those both sarcoma P pneumonia. There were significant differences between durations all diseases, which indicated impaired cellular immunity apart from This shows that alone have most favourable prognosis.
