摘要: A self-limited acute fluid diarrhoea was seen in 80 of 3550 (2.2%) live-born infants not kept a nursery this hospital. Rotavirus and enteropathogenic serotypes E. coli were detected with equal frequency without diarrhoea. It is suggested that episode occurring soon after birth necessarily due to rotavirus infection but could also be failure adaptation enteral feeding microbial colonization during transitional period.
