摘要: In Rana pipiens embryos, eye anlagen were moved to the evacuated ear position, where they continued differentiate and sent their optic nerve fibers into hindbrain. Upon entering medulla, turned caudally, penetrated spinal cord, traversed dorsolateral white matter caudal end. We found this pattern of growth in every animal; did not enter tecta. These results suggest existence within neural tube a three-dimensional gradient system which embryonic are responsive may guide normal development visual pathway.
