摘要: Gardening is widely used in promoting recovery and wellness. The use of gardening as a medium within therapy has long history, there evidence its effectiveness (York Wiseman 2012). focus this chapter on the purpose an occupational intervention (OTI). normal authentic common activity that easily graded to all situations, from indoors nursing home, community gardens. It versatile therapeutic medium, different aspects can be adapted meet needs wide range clients. Evidence research supports stress reduction. Skills knowledge therapist (OT) such plant care are considered. Evaluations conclude it increases motivation participate, provides enjoyment, creates profound intimate connection natural world.
