摘要: The gold standard method for diagnosis of tuberculosis is the isolation Mycobacterium through culture, but there a probability cross-contamination in simultaneous cultures samples causing false-positives. This can result delayed treatment underlying disease and drug side effects. In this paper, we reviewed studies on falsepositive M. . Rate occurrence, effective factors, extent false-positives were analyzed. Ways to identify reduce management them are critical all laboratories. most cases, occurring cases with only one positive culture negative direct smear. three crucial factors regard inappropriate technician function, contamination reagents, aerosol production. Thus, false-positives, good laboratory practice, as well use whole-genome sequencing or genotyping robust, extra pure rapid response, essential minimizing rate Indeed, molecular approaches epidemiological surveillance provide valuable tool besides possible false positives.
