摘要: In a floodplain lake of the Amazon River near city Iquitos, northeastern Peru, one-year monitoring experiment was conducted during which water samples and living bivalves (Anodontites trapesialis) were collected with aim to investigate seasonal δ18O variation in fractionation between bivalve aragonite host water. Both molluscan growth increments show more than 8‰ δ18O. under study is controlled by contrasting dry wet season evaporation–precipitation regimes. Molluscan appears be equilibrium Although an approximately 4.0‰ offset occurs, δ13C records are good agreement, suggesting that both shells freshwater A. trapesialis recorders (palaeo-)environmental conditions. The Dissolved Inorganic Carbon (DIC) governed plant and/or changes aquatic chemistry, affecting DIC pool.
