摘要: The article recounts major developments in the Russian system for fisheries management since break-up of Soviet Union and evaluates according to criteria put forward by precautionary approach management. has not been incorporated into law, post-Soviet troubled incomplete legislation, institutional conflict rumors corruption. On positive side, it is well-equipped terms technical scientific competence flexibility prompt redeployment monitoring enforcement resources.
